Partners in Brass

Our Schools Programme of music education was developed after years of research into how brass music is taught in schools.

BrassArt® will help schools in the following areas:

	Raise standards of musicianship in partnership with bandmasters.
	Implement a structured musical education programme to produce measurable results.
	Provide teachers who are world-class musicians and also professional music teachers.
	Discover talent at an early age by instituting a method to objectively assess talent.
	Nurture talent in a systematic manner - the way it’s done in the world’s best conservatories.
	Support slower students. Students mature at different ages – if approached correctly, every student’s potential will be realised, instead of wasted.
	Inspire enthusiasm to play music as a performing art. There is much more to music than CCA points.
	Pave the way to continue with music after finishing school by enabling students to sit for internationally recognised music exams.
	Make music relevant. Like any artform, music enables a person to express their unique individuality using a universal language.
